On Episode 11 of the And A Beard We Go Podcast, Hoover came up with the idea of drinking Japanese Whisky with Green Tea. It wasn’t the most amazing drink in the world, but it wasn’t the worst…
So Hoover picked up a bottle of Yamakazi 12 year Whisky buy Suntory and I brewed up some Bigelow Green Tea.
What we used:
Green Tea bags.
Mason Jar.
Whisky (we used Japanese Whisky).
Honey or sugar.
What we did:
- I used a mason jar and 3 teabags and cooled it in the fridge.
- We poured the Whisky in first, that way we can use Honey to sweeten it and not have the Honey harden and not dissolve when it hits the Ice.
- Stir it around and we hope you enjoy!

Like we said in the podcast, this was an experiment. So if you have an idea or a better recipe, PLEASE leave a comment, we would love to try it out!
Cheers!
- Brad

I invented a drink called a, “Juicy Fruit.” You mix a shot of Jim Beam, with half a shot of triple-sec and top it with Arizona Green Tea. Mix the whiskey, with the triple-sec and Ice-t, as if you were making a margarita.
YOURE a Juicy Fruit! Thanks for the recipe Adam!
I like it hot. Hot green tea with a little squirt of bourbon in there.
Nice! I’ll have to give that a try!
