Aaaaallllrighty! I ran across this one while doing my usual facial-folicle web browsing. It’s called Moustair and it’s pretty obvious what the theme is… I gotta make this quick, cause I have to make one of my own!
Enjoy!
Couldn’t let this one slip under my radar…

On Episode 2 season 2 of the And A Beard We Go Podcast, Hoover fixed up a cold weather, warm belly drink classic, the Hot Toddy.

This Hot Toddy was pretty traditional, the only variance we did was instead of using Honey, Hoover used Agave Nectar.
Like most of our drinks, theres really no correct proportion, at least to us. You’ll need a couple of ingredients though.
You’ll need:
A tempered glass – A glass heated with hot water until the whole glass is warm, pour out the water
Your favorite whiskey
Hot water
Angostura Bitters
Sliced lemons
Cloves
Cinnamon sticks
Honey or Agave Nectar

1 – Temper your glass
2 – Pour in a “shot” of whiskey
3 – Blast a couple shots for Bitters
4 – Slice a lemon and poke 3-5 cloves into the lemon cells
5 – squirt some honey or Agave Nectar into the glass, not too much though…
6 – a quick squirt of lemon juice
7 – drop in a cinnamon stick
8 – fill the rest of your glass with hot water
9 – stir, drink & repeat
Enjoy!

An amazing artist & friend took up my challenge of “Just make me something awesome.” and knocked it out of the friggin’ PARK!
I think this sums things up pretty well…

Caitlin is a make-up artist, a SFX Creature artist and obviously a fantastic colored pencil artist (I think that’s what they like to be called…).
Check out some of her awesome stuff here on caitlinbrisbin.com Also check out her creds on IMDb.

I came home from work yesterday, 10/24, I was greeted with a couple items that I impulsively purchased online. One of which was Tom Waits’ new album “Bad as Me”. His first album in 7 years of completely new material.
If you’re a regular listener to our Podcast, you can tell even by the opening/closing song, that we have a thing for Tom’s music. Personally, “Heart of Saturday Night” was the first album I had heard of his and it will always hold a special place in my wife’s heart and mine. I know Hoover has his favorite as well for his own reasons. I think that’s exactly what music should do, it should be strong enough that it last through the years and the moment you listen to it again it takes you right back to that place.
Fortunately, I signed up for the TomWaits.com mailing list and it informed me that you could stream the whole album days before the release. The wife and I went up to San Francisco for our anniversary and we played that album about 5 times in the 3 days we were there. It’s hard for me to really explain what this guy’s music means to me, all I can say is, if you’ve listened to Tom Waits before and you liked it, you’ll know what I mean. If you’ve listened to him and you didn’t quite like what you’ve heard, try another album. Each is unique and he’s been around for so long and influenced so many other musician’s music that you probably DO like and didn’t even realize.
Scoop up yourself a copy of this or ANY of his albums, it’s worth your time/money.
